On 1 September 2025, Guangzhou Huawen Senior High School held the opening ceremony for its 2025 Grade 10 students on the school sports field. Under the theme ‘Looking Back on the Journey to Understand Our Original Aspiration, Pursuing the Future and Shouldering Our Mission,’ the ceremony incorporated patriotic education and opened the new semester with solemnity and hope. Wang Caixia, Group Principal; Tang Xiao, Assistant to the Group Chairman; Tang Genwang, Executive Principal of Guangzhou Huawen Senior High School; other leaders; and parent representatives attended.

At 7:30 in the morning, the sun was rising high. As the assembly call sounded, all Grade 10 students quickly ran into formation and entered in class groups led by their flag bearers. With firm steps and high spirits, they called out their class slogans together, demonstrating the positive and energetic character of Huawen students.

The opening ceremony included a special ‘Let Dreams Fly’ session. A drone carried the wish cards written by the students high into the air. The students raised their hands to welcome their dreams, and the smiles on their faces expressed limitless expectations for the future.

A new semester and a new starting point: all teachers and students of Guangzhou Huawen Senior High School will write a brilliant new chapter together with abundant enthusiasm and firm conviction!
