Prepared over three months, the competition was not only a comprehensive assessment of students' overall English ability across the local area, but also became an important bridge connecting language learning with educational progression.
The successful staging of the competition not only provided students with a platform on which to demonstrate their abilities, but also validated the effectiveness of the centre's educational model of using competition to promote teaching, learning and progression.
Following the successful conclusion of the competition, Huawen CIC has begun preparations for the next event and plans to work with more universities and enterprises to expand further the competition's role in empowering students' progression.
For the participating students, the competition was not an end point, but a new starting point towards a broader future. What they gained here was not only certificates of honour, but also lifelong language ability and stronger competitiveness for future progression.
